Because Extended Band D only use high frequency, MoCA 2.5 can co-exist with CATV and DOCSIS, even DOCSIS 3.1. Mesh NetworkMoCA is sometimes misunderstood as a peer-to-peer network due to the way its ethernet adapters are often sold in pairs. However, MoCA is actually a full mesh network that supports up to 16 nodes per network. This means that any node can communicate with any other node, and all nodes share the coaxial cable's bandwidth. For MoCA 2.5, this bandwidth capacity is approximately 2.5 Gbps.
